This is my first post so, please, be gentle, as I'm not fully aware of local rules (moreover english isn't my language).
Last sunday night my less than three years old DFI LanParty Jr 790GX-M2RS (the DDR2 version, while the M3H5 is the DDR3 one) suddenly died.
It didn't POST while the onboard LED now give just random figures (I mean, not the known error codes like 88): I've tried the board with a working Athlon X2 4850e, same result (so I can argue that it isn't a faulty CPU).
My problem can be huge, as this mobo is a small µATX one.
The system is an oc'ed AMD Phenom II X3 740 BE (3,8GHz unlocked to X4 B40), coupled with 8GB ram (four stick of Corsair Dominator PC2-8500) and a crossfire pair of HD5850 Extreme, all enclosed in a white Antec Mini P180 (which is a huge-but-µATX-only case).
I'm not aware of any current µATX AM2+/AM3 motherboard which support CPUs up to 140W and has two PCI-Ex for graphics (x16/x8 or x8/x8), and eventually which overclocks well (so a very good BIOS is mandatory).
Nor there are many DFIs still alive and kicking (just to say, NewEgg gives 21 DOA or nearly after on 57 customers reviews, and eBay has no one listed right now...).
I guess I'm really in troubles.
Do you have any suggestion to not get rid of the CPU, 8GB DDR2, a wonderful Antec case, or one of the HD5850 (or both)? Full support for SpeedFan is also a desired feature.
Any help or hint is welcome, so thanks in advance.
