what is the heatsink that has "ultra durable" written on it for?? and what is the rated temp for that component.

that dose not sound good
thats too high for me

I took my ultra durable plat off my mobo
lower the temps by about 8c

They convert the power from the plug to power the CPU can use. They get hot.

Placing a fan on the northbridge heatsink (gigabyte logo) or using a top down CPU cooler will help with all temperatures on that board.

You really need to get some airflow across that heatsink.

well it was either the vmr or the NB, but accordign to gigabyte 3rd party monitoring programs cant detect the NB temp because they dont know the design of the board, so the only other thing i could think of turned out to be the vmr.
