So I want to upgrade her PC and I plan to use the money from her old one to cushion the blow (financially). So here is what I built her some time ago and now want to sell.

Motherboard:MSI PE865 Neo2 Platinum (sk478)
CPU4 Northwood 2.8C D1 stepping. (OC's to 3.8 on my old P4P800 Dlx, this was validated but that was years ago. Check my gallery maybe)
RAM:1GB Corsair DDR400 XpertI also have 1GB DDR400 generic brand for 2GB total
Videocard: BGF 7600GS 512MB (never OC'd, I actually thought I had a 7800GS)
Case: Lian-Li PC-65 silver(missing one drivebay door.
PSU: Turbolink (generic brand) 420w dual +12v/14a rails.

All that is missing is a HD so I would like to keep it all together, parting out is an option if the price is right.

Fix the topic or a mod will delete.

Something like that....
The mobo+memory+CPU should be sold as a kit: $60-70
7600GS: $50
Lian Li case: $40-50 (Rocketfish is killing the Lian Li market)

To answer most of your questions: (1) a fridge cannot cool a PC (2) 64-bit OS for over 3.4GB (3) If a PCIe card fits, it should work (4) Resolution, not screen size (5) Report, not respond to Spam (6) Single-Rail/Non-Modular PSUs are not always better than Multi-Rail/Modular (7) Sequential does not matter as much as random for OS drives (8) Requirements come before hardware for servers

Honestly, if you're looking to make more money...EBAY or CRAIGSLIST it is.

I was able to part out an old Socket A machine and buy an entire new AM2 X2 3600+ with 7900GS and 2GB of Corsair for an extra 30-40 bucks!

You can probably make 30 for the CPU, another 40-60 for the Corsair memory, another 20 for the motherboard...case 10-20-30 on Craiglist pick-up only and what not.

Make sure you just test everything and say it all works! MEMTEST86 passed etc. People will buy fast.

Good DDR400 is selling for LOTS! Keep that in mind. I was forced to buy some Kingstom 1GB for 50 bucks! If you were selling ther Corsair TWIN for 50 I would have bought it!

Your RAM price is way TOO low. Look at how much DDR400 is selling for on forums and Ebay. Especially Corsair!
