For the cpu not sure when but Intel will be selling the i9( 6 core) processors.

Don't really need a PhysX card with 2 295's their beastly enough(you could wait a bit for the dx11 cards to come out).

Might need a little more then a 1000W, maybe a 1200W like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817153054

Other then that this will be a pretty huge build and goodluck with it!

Will shill for Ruger products

Alright, updated outline

I don't have a computer so I can't for these newer parts, but I will get them when they come out.

CPU:
i7 920 (I'll get the i9 when it comes out)

gpu:
3x 285's + physx?

Case:
tj09

Psu:
corsair or tt

still not sure about the hdds, and hascorsair or ocz come out with some new ssd's that don't stutter yet?

The only sure barrier to truth is to assume you already have it.

I say TJ07 if you are going watercooling eventually.

For hard drives, get some 2tb drives or get some 7200.12 drives or some 1.5tb ES.2 drives.

The TJ09 can do water cooling just as well as the TJ07. As you can see in the pic, it's got rubber holes in the rear vent that you can route your tubing through.

The TJ09 might not have the case fans in the bottom like the TJ07 does, but I think it looks better and the functionality is still there. The only advantage that the TJ07 has over the TJ09 is the extra PSU bay, but really, do you need 2 PSU's? Yeah, you can use the space for your liquid cooling stuff, but I wouldn't want all that next to my PSU.

Yeah, you can use the space for a reservoir, but I wouldn't want my rad sitting next to my PSU.
I'm afraid not. The TJ07 can fit a 3x120mm rad on the bottom without a problem and I don't see the TJ09 doing that.

Woops, you quoted my post before I could edit it. Got my wording mixed up a bit when talking about the liquid cooling stuff.

Don't get the 3-gtx 285. Wait for the 5800 series.

Actually has more to do with quad sli not scaling as well. since a gtx 275 is a gtx 285 with less memory.

I think I'm sold on the obsidian. I'll just have to go careless for a month.

I'm sticking with the 285's.

Any words on a mobo? I like the evga 757 now
