Critique please im working with a 1500 budget with tax and everything. I think this is a pretty good build. its just strictly for gaming and nothing else.

OK, I'll give you my .02 worth.

CPU & RAM look good. Motherboard, meh, if all you want to save a few dollars and still get 8x8 for future SLI, go with the Biostar TP67XE.

Saved you $30 there.

Case, alot of people use the antec 1200, this case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811163154&cm_re=rv02-_-11-163-154-_-Product is way better for an air-cooled system and cost $20 more. Note, newegg charges $28 for their crappy shipping on this. Amazon has free shipping on this, I just got one last week.

So, still at + $10. :-)

PSU, this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139010&cm_re=corsair_750w-_-17-139-010-_-Product same price as kingwin (who?) after rebate.

So, still at + $10. :-)

1TB HD: this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136533&cm_re=caviar_black_1tb-_-22-136-533-_-Product a few dollars more, but so worth it.

Argh, went upside down, the changes will cost you + $20. ;-) Much better products IMHO tho.

How about the NZXT Phantom case instead of Antec 1200? smile.gif

I don't know the pricing, but the Phantom seems better than the 1200, and oh, it's also my dream case biggrin.gif

E8500 OC 4,20 Ghz. biggrin.gif i5-2500k OC 4.390 Ghz. biggrin.gif

I live in Denmark: 1. Hardware is more expensive. 2. Can't buy outside Europe due to toll fee. 3. Can't use links to Newegg or that kind. 4. US pricings are NOT the same as DK pricings.

The Phantom Spanks the 1200. The phantom cases are fantastic & the Antec cases are not that great
