Geez M-A, that's a lot of wires to cut and resolder back together. They're already nicely braided too. Since the braiding is red I guess you want them to be visible, but hiding them under (actually above) the aluminum plate would be a lot easier. Oh, and congratulations on the baby!

Thanks mate!! smile.gif 7 weeks to go until I lose all sleep and sanity tongue.gif

I do want the cables to be seen, so cutting and resolving is my only option. The sleeve can be removed and reused elsewhere, so it won't be a problem thumb.gif

Thanks for the input though, keep it up!

Might sound kind of stupid, or crazy, and I have never done it, BUT do you think cutting little sheets of wax paper and placing them over the leds would diffuse it without reducing the brightness much?

Like the wax paper used for cooking, everyone must have that.

Build is looking good btw thumb.gif

Thanks HPE. As for the wax paper, I can only find brown paper in the food stores here in Sweden frown.gif

I am currently speaking with a local Plexiglass factory about getting some pieces cut, but ATM it seems like he wants to charge a ridiculous price for the work. I think that I might have to drop the idea and think about doing something else for the bottom instead.

I have updated the front page with and "Update Index" so that people who are checking out the build for the first time can skip the conversations and get right to the juicy updates. Cool huh? wink.gif I am also writing up a "To-Do" list, so everyone including myself, can keep track of what needs to be completed. I do not have so much time left to finish this build, so the finish should be pretty quick.

Thanks for reading smile.gif

Good call on the OP updates...You definitely need some more movement down here though, to grab some more viewers.
I found that glass is ridiculously cheaper than plexi here, maybe it's the same in Sweden. It's a worth a shot anyway...Smoked glass is nice biggrin.gif

Update

Hello everyone! Update for you smile.gif

Well I have taken the time to re-do the I/O cables. Here I have shortened them down, and resleeved them. Turned out very nice smile.gif

AppleMark
AppleMark

The only little problem is that there is little, to no clearance between the cables and the 2nd GPU. I will have to somehow fasten down the cables to the dividing plate so that the do not touch the fan. The reason being because the cables overlap each other. I will have a think about that and get back to you all smile.gif

Thanks for looking.
