If it wasn't so heavy I'd offer to make you one...

Been chugging away now for a few weeks without a single prob. ICE is making me into a gamer I love Crossfire...it's so purdy...I find that running a mild OC of 2997 the phase unit runs a lot quieter. It was getting pretty intense when I was benching the beast a few months back. No ovrheating either..the 200mm I slipped in as an exhaust is doing the job.

Except for the godawful expense of getting the phase I really think this is one of the more refined and quiet cooling systems available to extreme performance junkies. The rig is certainly more quiet than many of the aircooled creations I have heard.

If you have the budget why not. One of my favourite logs...this here ICE. Once it took off I had a hard time keeping up but I must say one of the best documented logs of all time

Keep on keepin on Cyber. One day I hope to own a Cyber case.

Well since I have torn apart all the cool rigs I got except ICE I am keeping my hands out of there for the moment.

I do want to try out some more Raptors in RAID...I am running two ATM but would like to see where the point of dimnishing returns sets in RE number of drives...thje AW9D-Max will handle 6...but I have a feeling that after 4 it might not show any improvement...we'll see.

ICE is melting

No longer stable to Overclock--more voltage only makes it less stable.

I think all that rigorous benching and overvolted overclocking has taken it's toll.

After confering with our new build Guru (Chozart) I ordered this:

Which is nothing near as sexy looking as the loverely AW9D-Max...but since the mobo is going to poo I need something FRESH to destroy.

Of coure many pics when I decommision Bushido.

Yep Overvolting will cook your stuff--regardless of the temps.
