I have been working on it. But not the modding side. I got the rest of the ram in. And most of the windows updates done.

Wow, there's really some great beigemods going on here! smile.gif

@RKDxpress I'd love to see a build log for that bad Boy! thumb.gif

I'm currently on the lookout for a beige Server case to mod to replace my 300R (the 300R's not bad, but it's not a beigemod biggrin.gif ) I've found a few good ones, but not the perfect one, I'll just have to be Patient and wait for the 'right' one to come along.

My build is coming along well. Minor hiccups. Can't decide on a PSU. Need to keep it cheap but reliable. I really want a high quality, low wattage unit, prefer 400w. Need to stay at $40 tho.

I've got a really awesome server case. Its not beige, but extremely old. Housed a Pentium Pro telephony server. It was a mod I did years ago, and it just been sitting since my dual Athlon MP system was removed. The PSU slides in front on rails. Had to mod a newer PSU into the old PSU housing, which was a job itself, to maintain that design. Would house almost ANY motherboard out there. Three biggo 120mm fans in front pushing air across entire inside of case, all high RPM, high CFM, and noticebly loud. I think they are delta's. Run off molex, no PWM, no RPM sensor, no nothing. lol

That case is beast mode. It was GUTTED to the bones. All sorts of cut metal to make things work, it was crazy. Wish I had the pictures still. That HDD crashed and all is gone.

EDIT: Actually, some google searching in my favor...

Before, with Pentium Pro

After, with dual Athlon MP (socket A, GES power spec)

The metal is NOT shiny at all anymore. It sat in my basement and "corroded." It would just need polished up with some elbow grease.

Personal best - 11,811 in 3DMark06 on 01/16/2016 socket 939 baby!

Looks like it has potential, I think I'd want it a bit smaller though, that thing's a beast! biggrin.gif
