So trying to improve the appearance of all those wires in my case -

Modded the PSU - with nice little green sleeves -

Just wondering if it would be possible to Mod the Flat Ribbon Cable that comes with the Creative Xi-Fi Fatal1ty Sound card - (the ribbon that connects the PCI card to the front panel..)

Its annoying lol - havent used a flat ribbon cable for years - this thing just really annoying heheh

Upon examination - it doesn't look like a normal round floppy cable would work - as the pins are different - or would it?

Anyone experienced with this type of thing able to shed any light?

Here's a pic - with no watercooling tubes in the way yet.

Yeah, rounding it really helps, makes it look much neater. I can suggest you fold the cable so you don't risk cutting into your wires, it's a safer way, and you still get the round effect, but not as much with a totally rounded one. You can use either a big thing of heatshrink or use some leftover cable sleeving.

Use an exacto knife and cut (very carefully) into the grooves, stay in the lines, or else you might expose some wire. It's like coloring in kindergarden. Do this for every single individual wire, or do it for ever few wires, then just wrap them up, slap on some electrical tape and you're done.

List of updates to do by summer: (1) New PSU: Seasonic S12 600W, (2) New OCZ Phase change or WC, (3) Sleeve cables: white, (4) 1 More 12" CCFL, (5) Some dremel action: circular side window

I've done the x-acto knife thing before and accidentally sliced insulation off wires. I've done it successfully too but I think folding the ribbon is safer and pretty nearly the same effect.
