I am not buying one as I don't have the funds nor do I need one as my computers are in the basement where it stays around 60F anyways. But I used to have them upstairs and the room would get 85F+. I know this isn't the best cooling solution, but it would seem like a decent idea. And now they have dropped the price to $99 with free shipping not bad. Good looking case as well.

Any thoughts on it?

Not bad for 100 bucks. I wonder if you could migrate the a/c unit into another case?

I'd like to see some real benchmark testing on that thing before I'd buy one... seems like it wouldn't do as well as some would have you believe. But I'm a skeptic on new ideas like this, so who knows, it could be the greatest thing since swiss cheese!

I bet its only fair at best. I mean in theory the warmer the conditions it was put in the better it would do but still, it has its limits I bet it can reduce the air temp in the case no more than 15F and probably more like 7-10F. But I guess if its 80F out and you could bring it to 70F that would be better.

they took my idea kinda. you all know how cold a car AC gets right, well take it and shrink that down to a small box and vent it into the computer and have the return air go back to the AC unit that was my idea.

You could take one of those aftermarket ac units for like old muscle cars, of coarse you would need to find a way to spin a compressor, which takes some power.
