I have a small baggie of Silica Gel Desiccant (Dehumidifier).
Is it ok to place it inside the case near the intake fans to get rid of any moisture that might get sucked in during rainy seasons??

Thanks.

What ya'll think??
Another cool thing you could do is cut a 22"x3" piece of aluminum stock, hole saw a couple of 2" cable management holes and mount it in the space between your optical/hardrive bays and the forward end of your motherboard tray. You can then route your sata and other cables through the two cable management holes. You've done a great job tho.

I think that's about as good as it'll get for now, at least unless you can get a longer SATA cable to route up with the SATA power cable for the optical drive.

So that's what those little gel packets are for ...I knew they had something to do with keeping electronic products intact or something haha . Unless you're talking about how cold it can get inside the case which might start some type of condensation...I wouldn't worry about using them.

I actually did do that on my build - forget the exact dimensions of the piece of steel I used... but I figured it would allow for more hidden routing

Build log

Will be updating my log sometime - have some GPU blocks and a XSPC RX240 to add to my loop.

Edit: some others here more

Sorry bout that bud. Look at page 140 of this thread, towards the bottom of page. I still need to upload some fresh pics, I've recently made some upgrades to my rig. I've added 2 GTX 480s and a Corsair 1000HX psu. New pics soon!

edited my post to show another thread - shows a shot of the back. Can clearly see the piece I added (build log doesnt clearly show it... my bad)

I didnt put holes in it for cable management - I used the holes on the mobo tray for that instead. I did it to hide routing of wires between the HDD rack and the mobo tray.
