Must agree with this, you've done a great job on them! biggrin.gif And yes, the spongy dust filters are incredibly annoying to clean. Back when I used them, I stuck them in a basin full of warm water for 10 minutes to clean them redface.gif

This is similar to what I had to do with the cushions on my pair of Razer Chimaera headphones. biggrin.gif

I just got a pair of headphones for late night gaming a few months back, but due to lack of monies, I had to go for a cheap-ish pair with no built in mic (I know some people consider that a plus though - something to do with the mic draining performance of the headphones?). They seem to be pretty good quality though, at least to me anyway tongue.gif They're a pair of Samson SR850's biggrin.gif

Yeah you just have to love the Tempest for it's temperatures and also for it's sleek looks. I haven't found a case even remotely similar to the Tempest-Evo in that respect. This case is almost perfect function and looks, When you look at it the case screams I'm awesome but at the same time it also represents professionalism with it's sleek lines. The only issue I have with this case is the space behind the Motherboard tray but even that can be overcome if you know your way around the case. That and little bit of TLC when putting the rear cover on. tongue.gif

Built in microphones won't drain the audio quality from the driver units, the reason audiophiles don't recommend "Headsets" Is because their driver units are generally low quality and if the mic breaks you can't replace it unless you RMA. What you can do is get either a clip on mic which is the popular thing to do or get a desktop mic that sits on the desk. When I got my Aerial7 Tank Eclipse headphones I grabbed a cheapo $3 clip on for the xbox and clipped it to the cable running from my headphones. It works like a charm when connected to my 360 controller and I can even use the Mic in windows this way too. wink.gif

I agree, the only problem is the back part of the case.

Hmm, I have heard a lot of people using that solution, but I was always unsure about it, I'm not a fan of having lotsa cables running everyplace tongue.gif I'm sure it'd be fine though, I'll have to keep a look out for a clip on mic thumb.gif

If you get the clip on mic make sure you get one that has a 3.5mm jack on it so you can plug it into the rear microphone port and just use some zip ties to secure the mic cable to the Headphone cable so it's like one cable instead of two. wink.gif
