Also I was looking for the banner, I will look again.

That's what I thought when I ordered it. And should provide great airflow. Oh well I'm going for the high quality. I may even try doing a Noctua color scheme if I get daring enough to do some sleeving.

Thanks for the banner code. I'll admit I can blind sometimes but I was pretty sure I hadn't seen it before.

Anyone got a good way to get out plastic cable latch from bottom of the top panel? I don't want to tear it up or scratch the panel even though it will probably get cut out when I put my fans in the top.

Thanks!

Does anyone know how good the stock fans that come with the PC-A05 are? I think they're single ball bearing?

The 2 stock fans are Model: LI121225SL-4 rated at DC12V, 0.27A, ~37CFM and 18dBA.

Needless to say, I replaced them in a heartbeat.

Hmm, I tried them in push-pull on my heatsink and they seem to spin up to 1200 RPM max. The performance with two of the fans in push pull is similar to one Cooler Master PWM fan running at full speed (1900 RPM), but it's much quieter. Since they seem to be decent dual ball bearing fans I might just keep them in this config.

The Lian Li fans from my first gen A05 (2007) spin at about 1700rpm max and are pretty loud... way higher than the 18dB stated above.

Maybe they changed them in the newer revision.

In the end I used the original two for my top blow hole and keep them at about 750rpm (mobo controls them) so they are virtually silent.

The other four (front, back and two for heatsink) are high speed Yate Loons that I have connected to a fan controller. They are at 5v 90% of the time unless I am gaming for hours then I turn them up.
