I recently downloaded Comic Rack. It's a great program, but I seem to randomly get whea uncorrectable errors, which result in blue-screens. It seems to happen most frequently when I am interacting with the lower menus. I might just open a comic from windows explorer and read it without a hitch, but if I open Comic Rack and interact with the menus then it might crash as soon as the first click.
I did some research and found that (a) these errors are normally related to processor errors and (b) that these errors are normally brought about by overclocking or faulty parts. I have an AMD 960T which I've unlocked overclocked and overclocked to 3.7ghz. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that that is by any definition a reasonable overclock. The CPU never gets hot and is otherwise stable.
My motherboard is an ASRock Extreme3 970. I love both pieces of hardware, and I really hope that this doesn't mean they're faulty. I should mention I'm using Windows 8. I think it's strange that a CPU error would occur in such a context, considering that obviously the CPU is not under load.
Any help would be appreciated.
