Ok, build my new rig yesterday with the apex.

Monoblock from the apex9 didn‘t fit in all holes. One on the right side is the Problem.
I mounted it without the screw. You need thicker thermalpads on the vrms itself i‘ve used 1,5mm. On the conductors is 1 mm ok

So now the sytem works and under linx 5ghz vrm are 44degrees.
Seems to work fine. But gave no warrenty that it works on every apex.

I'm confused. There's an official monoblock for the Apex on Ek's website. I bought mine 2 weeks ago.

Hm very strange, i got mine yesterday and saw that the hole in the right corner didn‘t fix,
Maybe it was a old block and they change it.

Yes, their configurator does have the M9A monoblock for the M10A.

I don't like that the one screw won't fit, and the thermal pads are wrong. I will look into the separate VRM block from WaterCool if I go with the Apex board for my new build.

I just looked at the EK web store, and they have no monoblocks for Z370 boards......you are definitely confused smile.gif

EDIT: I didn't use the configurator, so I didn't know the site was "suggesting" the block would work. I just know there's no official block for any Z370 board atm.

From what I've seen of video reviews, the VRM's stay incredibly cool on the APEX board anyways, so I'm just going to use a sup/evo cpu block when I build with it.
