A steal for someone looking for a cheap tablet. Got one myself, pretty decent tablet for $60, it is running Ice cream Sandwich.

I think the deal is good till the 25th

Nice, $60 Tablet with a camera! (You'd be surprised how few in the lower price ranges have...)

I picked up an eFun Nextbook 7p which I upgraded to ICS and its a blast to use. Yea, its cheap, so you shouldn't be leaving a bunch of apps open in the background, or else it'll start slowing down after a while, but if you keep it clear, its very snappy.

Battery life is a slight issue with the 7p though. You'll get 4-6 hours of straight gaming which was fine for me, and it'll last about 5-6 hours of average use without needing a charge, but it dies pretty quickly when not used in standby. Won't even make it 24hrs without losing its charge. But, it charges extremely fast. Guess thats the tradeoff for lower capacity battery and DC adapter over usb charging.

Anywho... these budget tablets are great for just that, a small budget. It won't compete with a nexus 7 or anything for build quality, but it will def work very well. Thanks for sharing, even on OCN, some of us have very light wallets redface.gif

No reason to get it. If you like it you probably going to spend more money to get something better. If you do not like it you waist $60.

Usually I view tablets as expensive toys, but for $60 it was a justifiable purchase. As this is my first tablet I am impressed with the responsiveness and sleekness of it, I am very happy with the purchase.

This. Since I don't use tablets for anything other than games and a few apps, nothing big, I can't see myself spending $500 - $600 "good tablet" or even $350 for a Nexus 7 (I think it was $350... thinking.gif ) But for $60, why not.

Screen not as nice as my S3, but you can't compare a $60 device to a $500+ device heh. Very nice, good enough for light gaming and apps. Responsive 99% of time. My screen though, if you angle it just right, you can se odd little lines, not in the display, but more on the surface material. Extremely hard to see even when trying to get the perfect angle and light. So yea... $60 for something like this, is very worth it for someone wanting to try a tablet without buying into Nexus/Tab/iPad prices.

I think I would have liked to get this Uniden over my eFun Nextbook though. Same spec's cept mine didn't come with camera and has SD, not micro SD. Also, mine charges from DC and had Android 2.3 native. Does this one charge via USB?
