You have a 980x, and you're worried about it being overclocked... Slight problem here.

You will have to change the bulb every 800 hours or so.

Runs louder, consumes more power. Great if you want a big screen for that price though,.

Ya, its only 5 feet wide and 75 pounds, just tell UPS to leave it next to the lawn gnome when it arrives.

Really? Mine is silent and the bulb has lasted over 4 years.

I ordered this set through Amazon earlier this morning. Free Shipping, and a Free Return if I choose to. I couldn't be happier in my anticipation for this coming Friday.

Regardless, is this set better than the 42" Panasonic that will be priced at $300, later tonight? http://www.overclock.net/online-deal...panasonic.html

If so, I'm not a big fan of "Bigger is Better"; I would rather have a sharper image. I understand that the size will degrade the quality somewhat. But would (for instance of argument) the 42" Plasma look better than this model at 42", if it were possible?

Which? The Panasonic is listed as 1080p, as is the Mitsubishi.
