Well, what is the best vid card for 120 American Dollars. Anything will be better than my onbaoard x200... Well has to be pci-e. Will a cheap 256mb help gaming alot?Please Help

Im pretty sure its the 6600gt. Im not sure about the ATI spectrum of cards at that price range though

Have a look at..this..for US $119.00.

Yes it is a refurbished unit but it is a XFX 6600GT GDDR3 128Mb 500/1000MHz unit and would be hard to beat.

For about $120, 6600GT's are still a kick-butt card.

So I will be able to play games easily with a 6600gt. Is there a 256 version? Will I notice a big diffs on game with one if there is one

A 256Mb memory is not required on a 6600GT. Bigger is not always best, as the extra memory would be wasted and not utilised.

Do not be fooled by the size of the card, That means nearly nothing compared to the other things. They sell 512mb version cards that are slower than 128MB cards. Its all part of making money to trick people who don't understand how cards work. Get the 6600GT youll be much happier than some 256mb card for that price.

If you have a good processor that doesnt bockneck the card, You performance impact will be huge. Seems you have a good processor, so yes your difference will be more than "big" it will be HUGE.
