Hey!

Having received a fresh WD Red 3TB, I would like to check it for errors to rule out an early failure or damage from shipping (it was properly secured though). Should I do it using CHKDSK or are there other programs you would recommend? Or should I just leave it be?

P.S.: Is there something similar for SSDs?

Cheers.

Are there any free alternatives? The lite version unfortunately can't correctly identify drives larger than 2.2 TB.
