my 400gb seagate hd is bering read that i've used up 112gb... but.... i went through all the root folders and it said that i've used up only 45.6gb... and if i add up my 12gb page.. it still doesn't make sense that i've somehow hit 112gb... can someone explain to me?

sometimes, Although, they could just be hidden files on c:\\ instead of actually being in folders. Still. Defrag.

hmm. ok. i realize i was on a bit too late last night, but would someone explain to me how defrag has anything to do with the size of my hd is being used? sorry if this is noob, i thought defrag was to help make the drive more efficient not make it smaller. i did do disk clean up and maybe cleaned up around a 1gb... and i turned on the view hidden folders/files and i highlighted everything in the root C drive and hit properties and says only 54gb is being used... so i don't know where the other 54gb is coming from..
