:swearing:I Now have another drive that is not doing what its suppose to...
My Lite-on 52x cdrw and 16x dvd rom drive now says its just a cd drive. I went to the site and reinstalled the drivers no dice. I also disabled it and then re enabled and that didn't work either. I do not know the exact model number because it is not on the box...

How are you connecting the drives IDE or SATA ? What kind of mobo are you using ? What type of case and how many fans (That 550w concerns me just a smidget).

IDE for this one I have another one in also its on sata but it only reads certain disks, the only reason I put this one in is because the other one was malfunctioning. It worked fine before in another computer and about 3 weeks now in this one.

You do know that is a CD reader & burner, but only a DVD reader (i.e. it won't burn DVD's)?

It is also a very old model. Current drivers for outdated hardware may be hard to find. Why did you buy IDE?

What happens when you put a DVD in it?

If your psu is any good, you won't have a problem. You rig will barely pull 300W...
