I have an external hd that was repartitioned and now I cant get to all the files stored on it. It's a long story to how it happened but I don't think the files were truly deleted is there a way to recover them.

Any help is appreciated

Yes you can recover them. Done the same thing myself before. 1st Don't connect the drive to the system until you are ready to recover as the page file and other system files will be written to the drive. So how many partitions originally and changed to what confguration? What did you use to repartition drive?
