Oh snap... It's totally gone. I just thought it lost the drive letter which happens to me sometimes.

I'm no hard drive expert but maybe you lost your master tables... You can try a recovery program

With TestDisk (http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk_Download) I was able to recover the MTF and now my HDD is working again!

EDIT: and on unrelated topic, does 30C-35C considered temp good for an HDD?

Congrats!

30-35C is fine. According to Google's HDD reliability whitepaper, most drives prefer 30-45C. If you go above or below that, failure rates start to increase. (but not much until 20C- or 55C+)
