The Razer Ouroboros is an ambidextrous mouse powered by company’s proprietary 8200DPI Dual Sensor System. It offers adjustable ergonomics which allows gamers to change the length, back arch and grip profile of the mouse. It offers both wired and wireless functionality with a 1ms response time. It is powered by a single AA battery and comes bundled with a rechargeable nickel metal hydride (NiMH) battery. Other features include 11 reprogrammable buttons, ultra slick mouse feet, changeable side panels and support for Razer Synapse 2.0 configuration software.

They're keeping hush hush about all the issues they had with the first version. They said they were going to reintroduce it at the end of February, but it seems like they haven't mass produced the tweaked version yet.

Needs inductive recharging. I would love to have a wireless mouse but the battery life on them is pretty pathetic for active use. If it would charge as I use it through the mousepad or have a stand to place it on for easy recharging I would be interesting, but nope.

Looks nice than my RAT7, but I like the thumb rest a lot on the rat too.

What was wrong with the first ones?

I want this to be my new mouse but have been putting off pulling the trigger on one.

Oh, so there was a "bad" version?

I was looking into replacing my mouse a bit back, and I looked this one up, but every possible google result was bad mouthing it back then. I guess I know why.

I still hate that Razer switched everything to green leds. Everything I own is blue, that annoys me enough to not buy anything else from them.

Yeah that is annoying. I hate being told I have to have green or blue lights on something. Prefer White myself.

My current set-up is all orange lights, keyboard and mouse so I have to replace both keyboard and mouse. Wish they had the system with the mamba where you could change the colour through software.
