Only if AMD can make a worthy CPU, then things in the PC desktop market would surely get interesting.

I just want to see their chips in my smartphone, then I'll be VERY happy. rolleyes.gif

AMD is not better than Intel in some ways and is better in other ways. Intel is better than AMD in some ways and worse than AMD in others. --

If their solutions weren't worthy, they wouldn't be getting so many deals as of late, don't you think!

AMD has a worthy CPU and GPU in one combination, an APU. AMD is cheaper and better, VIZIO saw that and made a contract with AMD rather than Intel...

they make some great cpu, just not the best for high end users but for 90% of the market they are just fine the problem they have is they don't have the house hold name that intel does.

Good, I'm glad to see they're getting contracts and their products out into the real-world again.

Makes sense for mass production tablets and notebooks, not for individual customers that build their desktop PCs.

Go AMD. I've never owned one of your chips(well besided my gpu), but I really want the market to be competitive. Go get em!
