If that would be the only reason, I wouldnt be posting so much news! Im was just curious why ppl dont rep for great news, for some members, and then for the same type of news others get rep a lot doesnt make sence, personally I dont care about the rep, its just about fairness and no discrimination to others!

Sometimes you get 10 rep per post sometimes you get 0, thats just how it works... If you comment about not getting rep then no one is going to ever rep you.. Rep is kind of a "no talk" area here. People don't like when people say "I'll rep you if you help me" or "Why didn't I get any rep".

EDIT: And sometimes you get rep for posts that don't even help anymore. :/

Please forgive me for this, but if you truthfully didn't care about the rep, then you wouldn't even think about such a thing.

What I mean is, you're showing how much you care about the rep by making mention of it. Like I say, I ask for your forgiveness, but Reps are gifts.

Imagine how you'd feel if you were a waiter at a restaurant, and you didn't get a single tip for serving a party of 10. Would you say anything to them about it?

Np, once again, its not about the rep but about the discrimination to newer members...

Okay, imagine that you're at a restaurant and you forget to tip your waiter. Now imagine that he says something about it. How would that make you feel?

Your pride is lying to you telling you that it's discrimination. The TRUTH is simple: reps are nothing more than free gifts, and nobody should expect anyone to give a rep. I don't care if you spend an entire day on one reply to help somebody. You shouldn't expect a rep. You shouldn't even be CONCERNED with the Rep! Be indifferent about receiving them.

As you can see, simply bringing it up is a bad idea.

The more you discuss it, the longer it will be before anyone who has seen this discussion will give you a rep. Some of those involved may even decide to never Rep you again because your decision to discuss it.

We're not talking about gaming. We're talking about the GPU doing CPU tasks, physx etc... as a result, you cannot even compare the two. People have to start thinking of these new GPU's as CPU's... To quote Total Recall "Open your Mind..."

Edit:
Bus width is a completely different beast then AGP days. PCI-e is directly connected to your NB...
As a result, it's not the bottleneck it used to be. Not even close.

That bolded part right there shows that you don't know what everyone is talking about. They are talking about the bus on the graphics card itself, nobody even mentioned PCIe/AGP...

You're either arguing about something you don't know about or just got a serious mind blank.

PS: Im aware this was an early post in the thread. I DID read the whole thread.

Let me quote myself again "I dont care about the rep" and can discuss it as much as I want, the era of communism is long dead, except for North Korea, and since Im not in NK right now, I dont care!

STOP DISCUSSING THE REP!!!! YOU'RE WORSE THAN A WAITRESS COMPLAINING TO HER CUSTOMERS THAT THEY DIDN'T TIP HER!!!!!!

There. Now maybe you'll understand.

It's also against the TOS to discuss reps in this manner.
