I'm not really keen to video drivers. Do they ever improve drivers for say the 8800gt and 8800gtx with these new drivers or are they just adding support for their newer cards and encompassing the same compatibility and performance with the older cards from the last drivers?

I haven't gotten any in over a year... Rep that is.

Some differences can be found here or there. Usually a few FPS either way.

ATI Catalysts are usually more "dramatic" with their changes. ForceWare drivers are generally more consistent.

because forceware comes out every 2 weeks and nvidia's drivers are good from the start ati not so much

this is the same driver released on 03/18...

Exact same file size and lackluster performance with regard to quad SLI.

Something quick better happen or I'm returning these and going back to my trusty 8800 gtx's with an extra $1200 + in my wife's pocket.
