Because there are still people who think that memory is the end-be-all factor in deciding what video card is best. Ever ask someone with average knowledge of computers what video card they use? You'll likely get a response such as "a 256mb video card".

FOR THE 1,000,000th time THE INTERFACE DOES NOT DETERMINE THE MEMORY FOOT PRINT OF AN APPLICATION.

and for the record, the 128bit interface on my motherboard can use 4GB RAM just fine.

Congrats MSI. You managed to create the ugliest video card ever made. Well done.

There is a difference here, so it might be a good card.
Yeah except that this card doesn't have 2 GPUs. Big difference.
