I have music playing software that lets me use Windows Explorer to choose what songs I play. The a problem was that Windows Explorer didn't show me the information about the songs that I wanted to see - Title, Play Length, Bitrate, and maybe File Size. It's not hard to change the displayed columns in a Windows Explorer screen, but the next time the folder is opened the default column view is displayed again.

I know there's a default folder view setting that can be applied to folders, but it doesn't include what columns to display. What I didn't know was that in Windows 10 there are "default" folder types, one of which is "Music". And each folder type can be set up to display any columns you want.
See this webpage for directions.
A couple of minutes and BAM! over 1,000 folders set up just the way I want.

I hope someone finds this useful..................

Misinformation is available from a variety of other sources. Misinformation is just like real information but wrong.
