By the way I only change the voltages you said right, sine I have no idea what you meant but working my way down, if so I have no idea how to change the other voltages or what I should set them to, p.s. It didn't work still after putting the other timings

OK if anybody is seeing this I managed to Overclock my CPU to a very stable 3.69GHz what I did was as follows---> CPU clock 24x--->BCLK 154--->CPU Voltage 1.22500V---> & Lastly, it's very important I Disabled Intel Turbo Boost. If you don't disable this you will get a Blue Screen so do it mad.gif lol, but other than that everything else is set to AUTO. Better than nothing but I think I would rather have it like this rather than 3.8GHz I guess in a way it's better for me, I'm happy with this OC biggrin.gif I use it primarily for Gaming & Rendering thumb.gif

Well that's it for me, thanks to everyone that supported me on my OC all you were very helpful in everything thanks Guys smile.gif

Shadow, it would really help out if you could post your full hardware specs. I didn't know that you were running DDR 2000Mhz memory. That puts a whole different challenge on hitting a high cpu clock because of the resulting uncore frequency.

What's the easiest way to put my computer specs because I'm pretty sure I put them in the first page of this part when I started this post you can check there if anything if you haven't noticed it, but of.net how do I show my complete computer specs

OK I manged to put some updates, just click my name SHADOWKG21, & then go to my Rigs under the one that says Shadow's Rig & it should show everything I have in my PC, well other than the HDD, Mouse, Keyboard, etc.

Great. Thanks.

Clear CMOS, reboot and load optimized defaults.

Set BCLK to 182
Set CPU Multiplier to 21 (will yield a final OC of 3.82 Ghz)
Set memory multiplier x10 to yield RAM frequency of approx 1820Mhz
Set cpu vcore to 1.30 to 1.32v
Set qpi/vtt to 1.30v
Leave every other voltage setting on Auto for now except make sure to disable Intel Turbo Boost.

Manually enter in your four primary memory timings, command rate and memory voltage according to the specs of your memory modules

Save changes and reboot. The cpu and qpi/vtt voltages I've recommended are on the high side, but just wanting to get you into the OS and stable so you can run some tests. Once these settings are confirmed you can start reducing cpu & qpi/vtt voltages to find the lowest settings for complete stability.

Also, since you're RAM is rated for 2000Mhz you shouldn't have any problem running the timings tighter at 1820Mhz. Probably around one step lower for each. For example;
If your memory is rated for DDR3 2000Mhz at 10-10-10-27 you can probably safely run it at 9-9-9-27 or even tighter at 1820Mhz

If possible stay away from even cpu multipliers as some have reported better stability and higher overclocks when using odd numbered dividers. Personally I never experience this on any of the X58 motherboards I used with a combination of cpus ranging from the 920 up to my last 960.

I have come to trust the OCN "Quick and Dirty" guide to 4.0GHz,it has never let me down.I make no timing changes to my RAM.I am folding on my i7-970@4.05GHz right now, very simple guide. My chip is not golden but no slouch.I make 4.05@1.29V and with water I sit at 54C,room is a bit hot ,probably 80F.The guide is easy to find with the search feature.I use it for 920's,930's and 970's same figures in the BIOS,same RAM model and timings for all.
