Okay, here we go, I'm in the process of trying to hit 3.5 or better with stock heat sink it is at exactly 20F outside and around 65F in the house.
Or at least my room cause i like my window open and stupid fat cat opens it. lol

Anyways Heres a Picture of Before I do any testing I had to bump the voltage up Because I kept crashing but i was totally stable at 3.23ghz Now For 3.32ghz
ram is at 2.05 volts. and 475mhz hehe

Anyways Idle on cpu is 24C So far Max Load has been 49c Kinda crazy eh. My e4300 Wouldn't even idle under 35c let alone load under 55c lol.
this is a much better cpu. And the 4300 was a Power hungry cpu.

Anyways I'm gonna see how far i can get with the stock cooler before i lose my head room

Cpu is at 1.32 volts-------------------

If she dies i have a 1.6ghz single core next to me. hopefully it doesn't... lol but that shouldn't happen anyways. And my Vcore drops from 1.32 to 1.29 volts on a load.

I will Post more info As i go. I haven't slept in 3 days now... me and my buddy were finding ultimate noober glitches on halo 3 hehe ^^ i haven't played that game since moms let there 12 year old on it.

People and their old version of Speedfan...... update Speedfan to 4.34 beta 38. Sorry to say this but your core temps are OFF BY 15C. Add a +15c offset to both cores.

Everest is often incorrect on core temps as well. Many CPUs with 100c Tj max are seen as having an 85c Tj max. There is only 1 stepping of the E6550 and thats G0, all G0 steppings have 100c Tj max and thus many programs need a +15c offset to both cores. You can also use CoreTemp to monitor core temps and is accurate.

For down and dirty info on Core 2 temp readings refer to the link in my sig thats in red lettering.
