I am very new to overclocking. I understand how it works, but there are still a lot of things I do not understand, and I know everyone here can definitely help me.

So far, I only use CPUCooL and changed my FSB.
I am OCing a Celeron D from 3.47 to 3.90 with no problems (so far)

I don't know how to change voltages, and frankly I am a little afraid to do so. I just changed the slider up to 3.900 and set it and it works fine. I cannot go any higher without the system freezing and I have to flash the BIOS.

Could someone really be detailed in the overclcking steps?

I have an Intel D945GTP
CG: ICS 954108

Do I need to change my RAM clock and voltage? I really have no idea

Thanks guys I appreciate it

Have you checked if your motherboard supports changing voltages? Have you flashed to latest BIOS?
Have you ran Orthos for like 24 hours to check your stabiliity and temperatures?
What are your temps?

If your motherboard don't support voltage changing, then I think its pretty much it.. Havent heard of programs what can change your voltages.

My CPU stays at 36C idle and under load never goes above 50C
