Recently stumbled across the site, wanted to share my $.02....

Have a North. 2.26 running night and day @ 3.4 stable, w/ a gig o' Geil value ram ddr400 @ 400mhz, 2-3-3-5 timings, on a Albatron 865PEPro v.2

Tortured and tested w/ prime95, memtest... the usual ball breakers.
CPU maxes at 54C, air cooled via a zalman CNPS7000B-ALCU.

Welcome to the forums.

The older Northys are killer overclockers. Nice work!

That is very impressive! I managed to get my 2.4A up to a stable 3.0 something using an aerocool 4--noisy as heck--i would say anything under 55C is likely to survive long term clocking. Are you overvolting to get stability at that speed?

Welcome to the forums!

Great oc and good job... enjoy the forums.

Overclocking is a pathway to many abilities, some considered to be unnatural
Large increases in cost with questionable increases in performance can be tolerated only in race horses and women.
Always keep 'em wanting more thumb.gif

Welcome to the forum! It's easily the best ocing forum in the world.

Nice overclocking. Just keep that Northy running uner 55*C (the preferrable limit), and you'll be fine.

If you had a Pressy, that load temp. of 54*C is nothing to worry about.

Coming and Going.
