What about the temperature thing in Speedfan and ASUS Probe II? I have one CPU temp in ASUS Probe II but I'm wondering is that for both cores of my Dual Core CPU? If so then I was looking in Speedfan at two different temps thinking they were each a core. I'll post a screenshot of my Speedfan to better explain myself.

Might have to click on the image to enlarge it.

I do hope that the one cpu temp from asus probe is the temp for both my cores, then I would be getting like 45-50C load and I could OC my CPU more.

try downloading everest and seeing what your temp readout on there is:

http://www.download.com/Everest-Ulti...=uo&tag=button

and then get back to me on here once you see those temps, but im sure if your cpu isnt melting or anything and your computer hasnt shut down or any warnings have happened...theres no way it can be that hot, so its probably just an error or something, ive heard a lot of weird things about speedfan

Alright, I've come to the conclusion that both cores are the same temp so one CPU temp on all these programs is what it is. I feel kind of stupid now lol. Anyways, my CPU temp according to Everest is 35C, Motherboard is 32C. Going to see how high I can get my CPU now.

So anything below 55C on load is alright? At 3.2GHz I've been running Prime95 for about 15 minutes and at load so far it's stabalized around 48. Will it get any hotter than that if I leave it run for about an hour you think?

yeup it might but as long as your load temps arnt reaching 55-60c i think your definitely fine, and try to go as much up on stock vcore as you can because temps really wont increase much if the vcore hasnt raised

up until now the vcore has been auto set, it's 1.28 now but I've noticed in cpu-z it raises and lowers a bit, would it be safe to lower it a bit more than that?

well you could lower it, i think the lowest for 820s is 1.25 and all the way up to 1.4, so you could lower it and you might see a little bit of a temp drop because of the lowered vcore but usually if you want to oc you raise your vcore, so i think you should lower, then test and see if its stable and getting enough voltage seeing as its overclocked
