any dead i7's using 1.4+ vcore - Overclock.net

I really like 4400mhz but it needs 1.43 to be stable have any of you killed your i7 using over 1.4 vcore 24/7 ?

Really depends on your temps at that point. I have a friend who has been running his 950 at somewhere near that voltage for quite a while now without an issue.

folding right around 70 ibt 77c this is with a gpu in my water loop 100% load to.

Yea and its cold in my room lol my cores are all under 65 right now folding.

I ran an i5 @ 1.464v 24/7 and this i5 was running 1.48v for a while. Never had a problem.

i'd have no problem runnin that 24/7 in the winter, in the summer with the ambient temps i'd scale it down.

I've been running 1.4v+ on my 32nm since launch. I just bumped it up to 1.4250V the last 2 months, and nothing broken so far.
