The motherboard makes very little performance difference with new CPUs, and very, very little if you don't plan to overclock the CPU. As long as the motherboard has the features and connections you need, then the brand/model doesn't really matter very much. You don't really need a Z77 motherboard if you don't plan to overclock or run multiple video cards.

hey dear

i want to do ONE TIME INVESTMENT....

like if ma price is going too high then i vill omit the HDD and vill take it in future

i mean if i take an ultimate Mobo then i dnt need to change it in future life.....

like once in a life...

i knw that technology is increasing day by day yet... if i plan to overclock ( right now i dnt knw that much , bt in future i vil be able to knw it & vil do overclocking so my configuration shouldnt be lacking anyhwere...... thumb.giftongue.gif

you got me na ... ??

A high end MOBO will go obsolete just as fast as en entry level unit if they share the same primary interfaces (CPU socket, RAM standards, bus speeds, etc). The higher end motherboard typically just offers MORE OF THESE HOLES. There is no such thing as buying into a motherboard for "life." When the CPU actually needs to be upgraded, it will also be time for a new motherboard, RAM, etc because a CPU jump large enough to justify will be on a new socket anyway.

The best value in the long haul is typically to buy into well made but lower priced but high value motherboards, middle tier CPU and GPU, and whatever RAM fits the spec that is known to be of reasonable quality. Every 5-10 years you'll have to do a pretty major system overhaul to get caught up enough to run things smoothly again.

Yes, Amazon.com is trusted, and great. Probably the biggest online store in America.
