Evaluate This Build; and some questions too.

I am currently compiling a build, have been doing so for a long time. I want to make it perfect for my use, so I am slowly working on it

and changing parts to it. I would to have it evaluated and see what I need to change. I also want to know some good cooling methods. I

am thinking about either using Thermalright's heatsinks and then adding very good fans or going for a watercooling setup. Though, I didn't see any heatsinks for the south bridge? But not sure.

Project: koyuki. (Changed the name. Since it sounds better. )

Everything looks great, only thing I would change is the 8800gtx for a 8800gts g92 512mb. It outperforms the 8800gtx in some cases and is alot cheaper.

Good luck with you build.

Another motherboard for lots of overclocking that ive heard is good is the Foxconn mars.

Also I would suggest this ram if you intend to overclock much too.

Awesome OCN Moments (Click to show)

Alright, I'll put my thoughts down.

Processor: Good choice.

Chasis: Awesome case (Runs hot, get a couple high CFM fans to cool it down, if you want a quiet case, go for an antec 900 with the fans on low, or a P182)

Motherboard: Great Mobo, I love it. (Go X38 if you ever want to use crossfire though)

Memory: Go Crucial Ballistix, cheaper and Crucial is Micron's brand (Micron makes the chips inside all those good DDR2 kits)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820146565

Video Card: Heeell no, the 8800GTS 512 is just as fast and cooler/smaller for 100$ less. I recommend the 3870 X2 for that price, AMAZING card.

Monitor: Nice, I like 20' more than 22 anyway.

Power Supply: I prefer PC Power and Cooling (they own OCZ brand as well).
Remember, wattage doesn't mean that much, a good 600w can run 2 GTXs.
If you don't plan on ever using ATI Crossfire:
PCP&C 610 Watt (Yes, it can easily run even a 3870X2)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817703005
Crossfire maybe? (or running 4+ hard drives)
PCP&C 750 Watt
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817341011

Optical Drive: Good

Hard Drive: Raptor is a waste of $$. You can get 2x 750GB for the same price. (or Quad 320s for RAID 10) and get almost the same performance.
I have a 3 drive RAID0, and tbh, it's almost the same as 1 HD.
I recommend a 500GB RAID0 for you (or skip raid and get 1 drive, which I would do in hindsight).
With RAID, remember to back up your data OFTEN.

Operating System: I'm skipping Vista and waiting for Windows 7, but it's not that bad.

Processor Cooler: Great cooler.

Fans: Thats a loud fan. I recommend the 1200RPM, but the Cosmos needs the 1600RPMs to cool well enough. As for the heatsink, I cool my Q6600 3.6 with an 800RPM slipstream, so a 1200/1600 will be fine.

Mouse: I LOVE my Razer Deathadder.

I'm a nvidia user.
And I cannot use the G92 because the board that I will be purchasing is only pci express 2.0. Unless I am incorrect?

edit:
It seems that it can be backwards compatible and has to do with the bandwidth which will have no affect on the performance.
