I'm having a very similar problem... My sister's laptop has XP home on it. I installed XP Pro, but for some reason, the drivers on the OEM disk that came with her laptop don't work on it. How can XP home drivers not work on XP Pro? Or is that the problem?

I used CPU-Z to look up the board model. I downloaded the drivers for said board, but the system ended up BSODing...

It shouldn't matter because they're both basically the same thing just with a couple more futures, maybe you got the wrong drivers? Theres a chipset identification tool that might help, here it is
