So here we go...I got my whole rig set up and I attempted to OC. I only managed to get it to 29XX MHz with a Bus Speed of 325MHz. If I try to push a few higher..my pc wouldn't start and it would prompt me to edit the BIOS in the POST screen.

Any guides out there to OC on this mobo? Right now I have a ratio of 4:5 and I'm not sure how to make it 1:1. When I put the mobo, the RAM goes up also..how am I suppose to get it to 1:1?

In the BIOS of the P5W DH Deluxe, in the advanced tab then I think into the CPU Configuration. There is this thing that says

"Enhanced C1 Control [Auto]
Note: Enable C1E. You may not adjust Vcore."

Same "note:..." for the SpeedStep Technology but I disabled that. However, for the C1 or C1E thing above..the only thing there is Auto which means I can't disable it.

For a 1:1 ratio your Bus speed needs to be 1/2 of your memory. You need to disable EIST to adjust the VCore of course, but as for C1E, mine was disable by default. Can you not adjust the vcore at all?

update the bios to 1407 if you haven't done so yet. after that you should be able to adjust vcore and get way past 325mhz.

Sound path: Essence STX --> CIaudio VHP-2 --> SR225/HD600/D2000/NAD receiver + Magneplanars

Portable: ALO Cryo Dock --> Minibox-e+ --> Livewires/SE530
