So, I got this new case and all the bad ass hardware to go with it. I wanted to test everything dry before I went and setup my water cooling.

Sure glad I decided to test this thing out on air first. I hooked everything up (except water cooling) and ran everything on air.
It was all working great other than the motherboard wouldn't fire up with a 2011 chip until I flashed it to update. After that I installed
Windows, did all the updates, and all my drivers for everything.

I ran one video card at a time and ran them on Heaven Benchmark.
After I got done with two cards I went to bed. The next morning I swapped cards and got ready to test the third only to find out that
now I cannot get to POST. I tried everything, even 3 calls to the manufacture. I tried clearing the CMOS, running on one stick of RAM.
I even pulled it out of the case and ran it with just 1 stick of ram and my CPU. Nothing, just two lights come on. "Start" and "Reset"

Talk about frustrating, was just about to finish up my dry run and hook up all my water cooling only to find that my board died on me.
Guess I'll be sending it back and waiting 2 weeks to get a new one.

Any thoughts that maybe something else is wrong before I send it back? I even tried an alternate power supply. Pulled off and checked
my CPU. Tried the 2nd BIOS, tried reflashing the current BIOS again. Nothing frown.gif no POST at all.

If no good ideas I wonder if there is something I could have done to cause this that I can take precautions to not do again? Maybe,
a static shock or something caused it? I don't know. Seems weird.

(I posted this message at the tail end of another thread I had in another area. Not spamming just trying to put it in the Motherboard section)

thanks for any help smile.gif
