Hi there ,

Just wondered if I could ask

I want to build a system for my sister .

Want fast but not too crazy , doesn't play games , doesn't do extreme photo editing.

Want to use the graphics on the CPU , and want board not too fancy , but fast for some basic programs and internet

Might get a SSD ,

Would appreciate any help

Thank you so much

are you near a microcenter?

http://www.microcenter.com/site/stores/default.aspx

talk to a sales rep and show them the ad on page 33
http://viewer.zmags.com/publication/8da5c72f#/8da5c72f/33
you can get the pentium g 3220 (3ghz dual core no ht/turbo) for $50
and the asus h81m-plus for $40 ($70-30 combo discount)

and they also have the pny 120g ssd for $50 with a cpu/mobo bundle

due to samsung 840 120g out of stock and on sale (bait/switch)

look around for any h81/b85 mobo

and haswell (1150) pentium/celeron g (non xxxxt)
they will be dual cores celeron under 3ghz, pentium 3-3.2ghz

for a browsing build, a ssd will help alot more than ghz

Maybe looking into AMD's new kabini AM1 APUs. Could build a very cheap system.

Sorry didn't notice it was intel

You can either buy a board with wireless built in (itx boards often have these), or buy a wireless adapter.

for desktops, wireless is difficult
pc cases are good rf shields, and will block signals

for an adapter, get either a usb extension for it, or pci-e card with wired antenna
