Hello

First off. Due to continued input/DPC lag problems with Z97/Z87 (which you can see in my other threads) I put away my desktop for the longest time and used my laptop instead. Recently I had the idea of rebuilding my desktop with a SuperMicro Z87 board I had lying around but switching out the Kingston DDR3-1866 memory with Corsair DDR3-1333 "known good" memory and it seems to have cured the input lag biggrin.gif

However I have a Gigabyte Z97X-UD5H as well that I want to get working so I rebuilt my system with the parts listed below and the board won't POST (was POSTing 6 months ago before I got the Supermicro). The most I get is the power and audio path LED's flashing and the CPU fan pulsing. I have tried resetting CMOS and having the board outside the case on cardboard. Any suggestions?

System specs

CPU: Intel Core i5-4590
Motherboard: SuperMicro C7Z87-o (Works) and Gigabyte Z97X-UD5H
RAM: 2x4GB Corsair DDR3-1333 XMS memory
Case: Corsair 750D
PSU: Seasonic 620W
GPU: Using integrated for troubleshooting, have a gtx 560 and R9 270X at the ready
HDD: N/A (unplugged while troubleshooting)

Thanks

Well. It's a bent motherboard pin. Ah well. *switches back to the working Supermicro board being more careful *
