I am in the process of building a Gigabyte based board for my Q6600 GO. From All I have read they are some of the best, and give good instructions on removing their backplate to add larger coolers http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=156346 I know I have come across others with the same questions. The x38 DQ6's are drying up and being overpriced and the new X48 DQ6 with DDR2 support should arrive any day so i am holding out for that chipset even if it tops $300. Was going to get a q9450 but with MicroCenter selling Q6600 GO's for $199 (in store only, hour from me). I will wait abit for something more and go with X48. Good luck on whatever you get, here is a link to a place still stocking the X38 DQ6 http://www.lagoom.com/Gigabyte_GA-X3...d-577645.html#
