What about maybe the P7P55D Pro? - ..and yeh even the budget 1156 boards are still good

Edit: My bad - didn't see it. I thought it was the non pro version - In that case get the Asus 100% - very good boards.

Yesterday I was browsing the EVGA forums because I was thinking of upgraded my mb to a p55 200 ftw. I decided not to do that though as there seems to be lots of issues with their bio's. Now I'm sure the majority of people don't experience this, but it just kind of turned me off a bit.

Also some of EVGA's boards do not use solid capacitors. Not sure if the LE does or not, you would have to check.

Oh and I was asking about your budget because you can get some pretty pricey P55 boards that do not have usb3 etc.

That's the same thing with me and Gigabyte boards. I have had 3 of them die on me.

Well, the ASUS is up there. I might buy that if enough people recommend it. It sure looks like a split decision for the EVGA and ASUS.

Of course whatever gets the most votes won't necessarily be what I buy, but the ASUS is looking good.

I owned a P55 GD80 - very good board however I think the lower end boards have bad vdroop which can get really annoying, anybody confirm that?

Well, I'm not buying this minute, I'll check back to this poll periodically. I'd like more opinions and advice on which of these to get. Thanks again guys. Keep the votes coming.

Alright, so I have made a decision. I am either going with the Biostar or possibly the Asus...

BUT...

Right now, there is a deal on the ASUS Sabertooth 55i. Should I get this instead of the P7P55D PRO? Is it worth it?

I think they're both on par with each other. I went with the Sabertooth though. Mainly due to the looks, but reviews show it OC's pretty good as well.

Get the sabertooth. I just rmaed my Tpower I55. Its really awesome *sarcasm* that the board thinks my default vcore is 1.5v on my CPU.

Try lowering it and it tells me I cant... Yea no not going to fly..
