You would need to locate the LED's themselves and change the current limiting resistors to get the brightness up, but LED's have a habit of changing colors if you go to far and let too much voltage thought them then go night night. Surface mount resistors usually don't have the values on them so it will be some trial and error.
Kind of a can of worms if you have never done surface mount soldering before.
I saw a mod once of a G15 with color changing LED's may want to look that up as a starting point.
