Yeah, it will eat ALOT. thats why i said to option that dual sli is NOT a good idea. All he does is 3D Apps and Sound / Video editing, not play CSS 24/7 like you, the prices are also in AMERICAN and he needs to pay taxes.

On a budget Build? See my FAQ!!

Any laptop as powerful as he is going to get is going to suck power like a Hoover, thats just how its going to be.

Dell is the best deals, I don't care what people say Alienware rips you off.

Most who don't understand don't care and most who do understand also don't care.
The only people with a problem are the people who don't understand but still care, but then that's the problem with most topics these days.

go to rjtech.com They have exactly the same motherboards, cases, etc. as name brand laptops, but you're not paying for the name. Most companies that sell laptops just buy them from the manufacturers (there are about 6 of them) and slap their name on it.

This includes companies such as Dell, Alienware, Voodoo, sony, Toshiba, HP, etc.

Get an Inspiron E1705, for 2100 you can basically the same specs as the Alienware without SLi, which you won't need. And still have money left over for whatever bling you want.\\

And that is with 2 Gigs of RAM.

dell has some good deals, but good luck with their tech support. My friend bought a dell laptop after they told him it had an upgradable video card, and when he got it, and realised it didn't have a spot for a video card, he called the tech support. He explained the problem, and they insisted it was a SOFTWARE problem. (he kept arguing with them) I would stay away from dell.
