I'm looking for a laptop that is mainly gonna be used to record sermons. Sound is gonna come in from a Behringer mixer through USB. My main concern is with storage, speed is not an issue for me since I have all the time to process the recording. I need something that can store a lot of wav files, and need to have some sort of redundancy, something similar to RAID 1.

Just use any old laptop and an external HDD. That's be the easiest and most cost effective way. Not many laptops will support raid besides expensive gaming laptops. So, if redundancy is an issue, just get two external drives.
