Yup, makes full use of the debian repos. I'm using XFCE4.8 and also working on a Cinnamon one as well. The XFCE one was out for a bit publicly so i could get feedback, but I've pulled them and since then have been preparing the other one. Should be back up again soon, as soon as me and the guy managing my VPS gets the file server working right for people so they have a direct mirror. Sourceforge can be kinda slow, (at least for me) so i hope it gets worked out soon. thumb.gif

I'll post in here when I get this all done (sometime this month most likely) and I'll see what every ones feedback is.

Count me in!

Only boot into windows to play games (which is rare these days) else I'm 24/7 Linux.

Downloading Arch now, going to give it a spin. thumb.gif

I tryed joli os, its ok. One thing do like is how it intagrates the cloud right in to the os, one thing i hate is that theres only dropbox/evernote, rather then others. Seems perfect for a little kid thou

So I got an invite for HP Cloud servers. I want to set up a personal webserver mostly for myself and have my videos on there. I want to be able to transcode them on the fly through a php based website to .mp4's that are compatible with my phone in the same way TVersity does on Windows.

What would be the best way to do this, or would I need to encode them all before hand?

Installing Native Linux on my Bulldozer Rig tonight now that I've moved all Windows related applications (Read Outlook and AutoCAD + Vault) to my Xeon LAN Rig.

I was thinking Ubuntu should do since I know it well, any other recommendations?

Uses include but are not limited to:
- Folding
- Minecraft
- Possible Source games
- Possible WoW
- Video Encoding
- Web Server (Apache2 for personal use)
- File Server on a primarily Windows Network
- HTPC in computer room
- Email Server (no idea how to set on up)
