I was able to repair the motherboard after all so I no longer need a replacement board. Thanks to all who responded.

I am in need of a basic AM2 or AM2+ MATX Motherboard that supports DDR2 ram (2 or more slots) and an Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Dual Core cpu. I don't need anything fancy or overclockable, just a basic, stable, reliable board to replace a burnt out ECS MCP61PM-HM Rev 1.06 in a Compaq computer for the local food pantry where I volunteer. They can't afford to replace this so I'm looking for something inexpensive, hopefully for around $20 + shipping and with the I/O shield since I'm paying for it.

I would consider an ECS MCP61PM-HM Rev 1.06 that needs to be recapped if you have one of those. I have the caps for one and was intending to do that to the original one until I found some trace damage when I went to do it. It looks like someone had attempted to do it previously, but messed up in the process.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Shipping would be to area code 54154.

As a last resort I might consider an MATX Intel S775 board. I have an E2180 laying around that would have similar performance from what I can tell, but I would prefer to stick with an AMD solution if at all possible..

I've got a OEM HP AM2 mobo that I used in my HTPC. It's ITX. It's in perfect working condition. It has a Brisbane 5000+ at 2.6Ghz ATM.
