I'm actually interested in the same kit, so please do tell if they work out for you or not. I snooped around a bit on the Anandtech forums-the PC2-6400 2GB kits are confirmed to be D-9 based. (Here's the thread)

One thing I noticed though-correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think it was Newegg's fault that you got the PC2-5400 version instead of the 6400 version. If you click on the Newegg link you provided, it goes to the PC2-5400 kit's page.

HERE is the link for the PC2-6400 kit:

welcome drunken, hey fill in your system specs if you would please,

be careful, i believe the d9"s were in the 4-4-4-12 version of the ram and not the cas5 version of the ram, atleast there use to be a version of the pc6400 that was 4-4-4-12 at 1.9v i jsut dont think they carry it any more

i could be totally wrong though since who uses d9 are usually changing on a regular basis, a i think the pc8000 version may be d9 but i dont know since i dont have them and can not verify

Thanks for that. But newegg just changed it because i have my original receipt stating what I ordered was the ddr2-800 for 215$. And they even changed the link in my order history from there site. Which is even more bull**** and when the open tommorow I'm going to get all the **** settled.

You guys were all here when my original link was to the ddr2 800 ram correct?? Newegg changed it around or they put the wrong title to the item. Either way I have a feeling im going to get the shaft.
